Kick-off Coupon Sales
Yesterday we kicked off the coupon sales with the players. In spite of my best intentions, I left some information off some of the forms on the envelopes.
We have several blitz days lined up. There is a sign-up sheet in the JSAC team room. Blitzes are a great way to sell cards, Rod Walker takes the players into Bearden neighborhoods and works with them on how to best sell the cards. It is also a great way for sophomores and freshmen to sell their cards.
I pointed out to the players the coupons from Mooyah’s: a free $10 gift card, a free burger, and a free shake. You just recouped the price of the card! Every one say a big thank-you to Josh Lovett when you see him.
Monday evenings: June 3, June 10, June 17 (left off of the form)
Thursday evenings: June 6, June 13, and June 20
Saturday: June 8 (left off of the form)
Meeting place is at the Marco’s on Ebenezer Road, across from Blue Grass Elementary. For the evening blitz, please be at Marco’s by 6pm. Players will blitz until 8:45.
For the Saturday blitz, please be at Marco’s by 10:30 and players will blitz until 2 pm
Finally, we may need some parents to drive players to the neighborhoods.
Check in days will be on Wednesday mornings before practice for Varsity and Freshmen.
June 5, June 12, June 19, and July 10 (Final Collection)
Yes, it is bright and early, but please remind your players to bring in their envelopes on Wednesdays. Ask them to put it in their bags on Tuesday night, so that they have it Wednesday morning. The check-in dates are so important as we collect money and credit the players for their sales.
The players and I called an audible when we discussed incentives.
15 cards will still be a Bulldog Lanyard
30 cards will now be a Bulldog Bro Tank
45 Cards will be a Bulldog Sweatshirt (I will discuss with Josh what the players were thinking)
75 Cards will be shoes and socks. (The forms say 60, it should have been 75, I apologize for the error.)
I want to thank everyone in advance for their help with fundraiser. It is really important to the program as it typically brings in around $20,000!
Thank you, as well to the Bulldog moms who are running this event: Anne Walter, Sherri Adams, and Sharyn Nevels.
